Welcome to The Beltman.net!

OUR EXPERIENCE:
From 1998 until 2004, Jim was chief belt maker for an internationally known holster manufacturer. Jim has made many thousands of DUAL-LAYER HEAVY-DUTY GUNBELTS for pistol-carrying people in law enforcement, the military, and civilians as well. As it turns out, these belts are great for just holding up your pants! They look good, last a very long time, and they make a thoughtful gift.

WHO WE ARE:

JIM SPEIDEL, (the beltman), has been making holsters and other weapons related leather gear since 1975 and gun belts (almost exclusively) since 1996. As a soldier, corrections officer, auxiliary police and armed federal security supervisor, and IPSC/IDPA competitor, his need for high-quality gear has always been a necessity. Almost 30 years of leather crafting experience, combined with an old-world-style dedication to quality manufacturing means that anything you receive from The Beltman will be the best that money can buy.

TRACI REHSE, (Jim's right hand "person"), also has armed security experience and much better secretarial skills than Jim. Her addition to the Beltman enterprise in May 2006 has made the overall operation much more efficient. She has also become an adept apprentice belt maker with the same dedication to ensuring a top quality product.

BEKI NAGEL is the newest addition to The BeltMan shop. Beki started part-time in June 2007 and went full-time in August. Not only is she becoming a top-notch belt maker and leather crafter, she is also a computer genius and is a big help for website changes and high-speed typing. Beki has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and worked in the prosecutors' office in Rutland County, Vermont before moving to North Carolina in 2006. In her spare time she volunteers as a child advocate for the North Carolina court system.
