About Our Belts

QUALITY:
A belt made to support the weight of a man stopper firearm must be a lot sturdier than your average department store belt. It must also be able to carry spare magazines, handcuff cases, flashlights, radios, etc. without sagging or stretching.
CONSTRUCTION:
These belts are made of TWO LAYERS of relatively heavy weight (6/7 oz.) BULLHIDE! They don't stretch or sag and they will take an amazing amount of abuse and still LOOK GOOD! The outer layer is submersion dyed (not sprayed) for maximum color retention. The inner layer is natural bull hide but heavily waxed. All belt keepers (tongue retention strap) are stitched. All edges are dyed black on all belts. All belts are stitched in black heavy duty nylon thread. Edges are hand beveled and and slicked to a smooth rounded surface and then sealed with a black permanent edge coating. All belts are hand buffed with leather balm and waxed to a gloss finish. Most belts will have your choice of Brass, Nickel, or Matt Black buckle. (The black buckles are POWDER COATED, not painted!)

BACK SUPPORT:
I don't sell these belts specifically for this purpose and I have no medical facts to back this up, but the anecdotal evidence is overwhelming. After a brief break-in period these belts add a degree of lower-back support that brings SOME relief to sufferers of lower back pain. Imagine that!
VERSATILITY:
Depending on the width and color you choose, these belts will look great with casual clothing or suit and necktie dress wear. I make our bullhide belts in four colors: TAN, CORDOVAN, BROWN, and BLACK, and three widths 1-¼", 1-½", and 1-¾", and ANY LENGTH you want!
